Greenock is located around 50-60km north east of Adelaide, just off the Sturt Highway.

The collection there includes what is claimed to be the largest public display of 1:72 scale aircraft models in the Southern Hemisphere, over 1400 models! The museum also displays several full-size airframes, notably a Canberra bomber, Mustang replica, Ansons, DH Vampire, DH Dove and Mosquito cockpit. There is also a collection of aero engines and a mobile radar tracking unit.

There are also diorama displays and various aeronautica. There is a craft shop attached with a broad range of local produce and crafts for sale.
