The Swiss Air Force Museum houses an impressive collection of aircraft that have served the Swiss armed forces. On show is also a catalogue of innovative Swiss thinking with many locally-designed and manufactured aircraft. The museum is spread over two main areas, with a mezzanine level that allows viewing from most angles. They have done a good job of having so many airframes on display without crowding them. Of particular interest to me were the indigenous designs from Pilatus and others. The Aquillon prototype is a particularly beautiful design that I would have loved to see flying. Unfortunately it did not get past the development stage.
