Located on an ex-RAF airfield od WW2 vintage you will find the Malta Air Museum. Malta has an incredibly rich military and aviation history and you can see quite a slice of the latter on display here. Spread over two hangars and a couple of Nissen huts, there is a very impressive collection of aircraft and anciliaries. One long-term project on show is the recreation of an entire Sea Gladiator airframe. Three Sea Gladiators, named Faith, Hope and Charity, became famous in the Second World War as the sole aerial defenders of Malta when the island was besieged. Another one that is a bit tricky to get to if you don't have a vehicle, but well worth the effort.
