I have had the privelege of visiting Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace, outside Paris twice, once in 2010 and again in 2022. This is one of the world's great air and space museums. Exceptional displays and unique airframes abound. You can see groundbreaking test and prototype aircraft from all ages of aviation, along with a huge collection of space-related vehicles and displays. If you are at all aviation-minded, and you get the chance, put aside a day and spend it surrounded by this astonishing history.
