The museum operates a tourist tram service around the area as well as hiring trams out for functions.
There is a large workshop on-site where you can see several trams being restored. Considering the elaborate timberwork in most of these trams, restoration is a very specialised task. You can see several trams in various states of restoration.
There is a quaint shop, converted from a tram itself, where you can by books and memorabilia as well as tourist trinkets.
